Hermina was born in 1902.  Hermina's father was Charles Jacob Brink and her mother was Anna  Blumberg.  Her paternal grandparents were Brinkus (Brinke) and UNKNOWN; her maternal grandparents were Jacob Blumberg and  Brink  (Brinke). She had a brother and a sister, named Edward and Elizabeth.  She was the second oldest of the three children.  She died due to a medical problem at the age of 71 in 1973.
