General Notes
- Was an English soldier, one of twent-five sent by Gov. Nichols to Kingston to protect the settlers there, soon after the Indian massacre in 1663; he was granted land at Kingston in 1668, and at Marbletown in 1669, where afterward resided. His name was written in the Kingston church records variously as Hussei, hossey, Horsjes, etc.
