Mr Nicholas Depuy

Nicholas was born in 1643 in Paris. He died at the age of 48 in July 1691 in Kingston.

General Notes
- Came to American on the "Purmerland Church", 10/12/1662 with his wife Catryntje de VOS and their three children Nicholas, John and Moses.
  
  Nicholas settled first on Staten Island.
  
  His sons Nicholas and John remained in the vicinity of New York.
  
  His other son Moses married and took up a large tract of land in the vicinity of Rochester, Ulster County, NY.
  
  In 1671 Nicholas was given a patent for 480 acres at Averstrw along the Menisakoungue Creek in New Jersey.
