Hannah was born on April 22nd, 1769 in Wallingford.1   Hannah's father was Mr Thomas Curtis and her mother was Mrs Esther Benham.  Her paternal grandparents were Mr Thomas Curtis and Mrs Mary; her maternal grandparents were Mr Joseph Benham III and Mrs Hope Cook. She had two brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Gilbert, Esther and Lydia.  She was the youngest of the five children.  She died at the age of 63 on September 15th, 1832 in Clarendon.
