Jane Farrar was born on April 24th, 1823.  Jane Farrar's father was Moses Wilkinson Whitehead and her mother was Jemima Farrar.  Her paternal grandparents were James Whitehead and Elizabeth Unknown; her maternal grandparents were John Farrar and Hannah Eccles. She had four sisters named Jemima Ann, Elizabeth Mary, Elizabeth and Hannah.  She was the oldest of the five children.  She died at the age of 45 in 1868.
