Lydia

Lydia was born in 1815 in Cowfold and her baptism took place there on July 9th, 1815.  Lydia's father was Edward Steele and her mother was Lydia.  Her maternal grandparents were Henry Gander and Elizabeth Harland. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Edward, Thomas, Thomas, Elizabeth, Sophie, Sarah and Rebecca.  She was the second youngest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 13 in 1828 in Cowfold.  The funeral took place on May 3rd, 1828 in Cowfold.
