George Dodd

George was born in 1823.  George's father was George  Dodd and his mother was Mary. He had a brother and a sister, named William and Anne.  He was the second oldest of the three children.  He died at the age of 82 on September 6th, 1905.

  On Sarah's death certificate, his profession is silver plater. On marriage certificate to Sophia, his profession is silversmith. 1881 census he is a leatherdealer and ironmonger.
  
  In 1881 census he is living at shop in Soho street with mother, Mary as head of house.
  
  In 1891 census. Living in Aston with wife and sons, Joseph & Charles at leather shop - retired.
  
  In 1901 census he was living at Coventry Road, Bedworth with Sophia.
