m. Hannah Willard, b. 6 October 1666, daughter of Maj. Simon
Willard. This Thomas Brintnall is address as Capt. COMM: See
Willard Memoirs, by Joseph Willard. In 1702, school site in
Sudbury was at house of Thomas Brintnall an "ye west side of ye
river."[Hurd: History of Middlesex County" vol 2 p 395].. COM:
Residing in Sudbury when married. Hannah was last surviving child
of the Major Willard, living near Concord, MA. 1743-7.

Colonel Joseph and Martha Buckminster, of
Framingham, Mass., 19 December 1729. He was a
graduate of Yale College, 1721; received
Master's degree from Harvard College 1724.

son b. 1730, a daughter b. 1733 Sudbury. Had
taught school in Sudbury (1722-26); also
taught in Rutland where a second daughter was
born in July 1736. He removed to Framingham; 2
sons, b. 1738 and 1740 are recorded. Moved to
Connecticut, Saybrook and Middletown; two sons
baptized December 1745, September 1749. During
his residence in Massachusetts he had been
placed (in August 1725) in command of some
troops ordered for the protection of the
inhabitants of Rutland against the Indians,
and it was perhaps in consequence of this
experience that he entered the service of the
Massachusetts government as a Captain in the
expedition to Acadia in 1755. A letter written
to The Gov. Wm. Shirley, dated Middletown 28
April 1755, signed Wm Brintnall, is preserved.
He lost his life in this expedition. His widow
appointed administratrix of his estate August

An article in the Bristol County Probate records tells what either Thomas or his father Thomas paid out for Thomas Platts and his orders when he resided on his farm. It was sworn to 5 May 1690 and was for £110..10.11 and recorded 27 December 1695. (Ref: NEGHR, Vol 64, pg 31;)
