Dorothy (Dolly) was born on October 14th, 1795.  Dorothy (Dolly)'s father was Benjamin Sweat and her mother was Mary (Molly) Sweat.  Her paternal grandfather was Benjamin Sweat and her paternal grandmother is Unknown Sweat; her maternal grandfather is Harper. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Benjamin, Asenath, Moses, Mary, Mehitable, Abigail Andrews, Sarah and Basmath.  She was the second oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 67 on May 26th, 1863.
