Ruth was born on December 12th, 1699 in Woburn, Middlesex, Massachusetts.1   Ruth's father was James Simonds and her mother was Susanna Simonds.  Her paternal grandparents were William Simonds and Judith Simonds; her maternal grandparents are Samuel Blodgett and Ruth Eggleton. She had two brothers and three sisters, named James, Nathan, Susanna, Abigail and Sarah.  She died at the age of 53 on May 20th, 1753 in Woburn, Middlesex, Massachusetts.1
