Josefina was born in 1880.  Josefina's father was Francisco (Franz) Juan Fiant (Fient) and her mother was Adelina (Alina) Imhoff Imhassli.  Her paternal grandparents were Elías Minnig Schmid and María Antonia Kresentia Magdalena Fient Wenger; her maternal grandparents were Alexander Imhoff and Cresentia Imhassli. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Juan, Juan, Leopoldo, Juan, María and Adelina.  She was the second oldest of the seven children. She had two half-sisters named Otilia and Emilia.  She died at the age of 69 on October 10th, 1949.
