Rachel MOREDOCK?

Rachel was born in 1700 in Fincastle Co., Virginia. She died at the age of 89 in 1789 in Montgomery Co., Virginia.

  "If you will check the William and Mary books, you will find that a woman years ago wrote and stated that her ancestor was Abraham Mordock Skaggs. At once some one latched on the name Mordock and Rachel's name bacame Moredock and has been Moredock every since.
  In a recent newsletter Juanita stated that she remembered seeing an old bible years ago.
  It stated that James that md. Susannah was a McClung. Ida at the top of Texas txrose@arn.net"
