    Council honors longtime economics teacher Piniak 
      East Chicago Central teacher Bradford Piniak recently was honored for his contribution to economic education.Piniak, who has taught economics in East Chicago for 33 years, was recipient of the 2000 Olin W. Davis Award for Exemplary Teaching of Economics in Indiana. The award was presented on Oct. 7 in West Lafayette.
