James was born on July 9th, 1849 in Arden Rd Old Brampton Kent.1  James' father was James Walker (Cowkeeper-Carman - Stableman) and his mother was Harriett Light.  His paternal grandparents were John Walker (Sail Maker) and Elizabeth White; his maternal grandparents were William Light (Blacksmith) and Mary Elizabeth. He had three brothers and two sisters, named George, Henry, William, Mary and Martha.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died  due to 1912 Jun Rom  4a 469   age 62 at the age of 62 on June 25th, 1912 in Barking Essex.  The funeral took place on June 29th, 1912 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.  He was buried on June 29th, 1912 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.2 3
