George was born about February 1st, 1627 in Great Yarmouth Norfolk and his christening took place on February 7th, 1627 at St Nicholas Church Gt Yarmouth.1   George's father was George Spilman (Merchant Bailiff PCC Will) and his mother was Ellen Cutting.  His paternal grandparents were John Spilman (Cromer WILL Merchant) and Agnes (PCC Will ); his maternal grandparents were Nicholas Cuttinge (BAILIFF Will PCC) and Rose Bennett. He had six brothers and two sisters, and also five siblings of unknown gender, named Nicholas, John, William, Anthony, Samuel, Benjamin, Rose, Ann, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, <Unknown>, <Unknown> and <Unknown>.  He died in 1715 in Yarmouth Norfolk.



George's first family

George and Rebecca were married in a religious ceremony about 1646.  They had five sons and two daughters, named George, William, Anthony, Rebecca, Samuel, John and Elizabeth.


George's second family

George and Jane were married in a religious ceremony on July 9th, 1672 in St Benedict Norwich.
