Richard was born on October 30th, 1840 in Barking Essex.  Richard's father was William Vaughan Pyner (Fisherman) and his mother was Margaret Kenny (b Plaistow).  His paternal grandparents were John Pyner and Sarah Vaughan Cartwright; his maternal grandfather was Timothy Kenny and his maternal grandmother is Margaret Hussey. He had a brother named Abner.  He was the older of the two children. He had a half-sister named Elizabeth.  He died at the age of 94 on January 5th, 1935 in Barking Essex.  The funeral took place on January 9th, 1935 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.  He was buried on January 9th, 1935 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.1
