William was born in 1840 in Barking Essex.  William's father was William Henry (Fisherman) Page (d Aldgate) and his mother was Sarah Gt Ilford Pollard.  His paternal grandparents were Joshuar (Wheelwright) Page and Letitia Shelshear (b Margaret Rothings Essex); his maternal grandparents were James Pollard (net maker Fisherman) and Jane Malpas. He had four sisters named Sarah, Clara, Eliza and Esther.  He died in an accident or as a result of an injury, Boiler Explosion Hewett Yard Barking, at the age of 59 on January 6th, 1899 in Hewett Repair Yard Fisher St.  The funeral took place on January 13th, 1899 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.  He was buried on January 13th, 1899 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.1 2
