Clara was born in 1871 in Gorleston Suffolk.  Clara's father was Joseph Norris (Fisherman b Whitechapel) and her mother was Maria Sawyer (b Chadwell Heath).  Her paternal grandfather was Joseph Norris and her paternal grandmother is <Unknown>; her maternal grandfather was Richard Sawyer and her maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had four brothers and a sister, named Henry, John, Alfred, William and Emily.  She was the third youngest of the six children.  She died about September 10th, 1896 at 3 Alma Place Barking Essex.  The funeral took place on September 17th, 1896 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.  She was buried on September 17th, 1896 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.1
