  • Herbert known as Bert meet Gladys since Bert was a friend of her elder brother Bill whilst in the Army.
    Bill brought Bert to Ilford and he meet Gladys.
    After marriage they moved to Harrow, then Ickenham, then Chorley Wood.   After Bert's death Gladys moved to Bournemouth area.    Finaly to Clacton where she died in a Home near Clacton Railway Station
