Alice was born about February 19th, 1857 in Barking Essex and her christening took place on February 23rd, 1857 at St Margaret's  Church Barking.1  Alice's father was Joseph Hollick (Mar Gard  b EastHam b H 581) and her mother was Harriett Allmond (H 581 Rippleside Grave).  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Hollick (Ag Labourer b Liddington Wilt) and Mary (b Wroughton Wilts); her maternal grandfather was Thomas Allmond and her maternal grandmother is <Unknown>. She had a sister named Emily.  She was the younger of the two children.  She died about August 8th, 1926 in Barking Essex.  The funeral took place on August 12th, 1926 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.  She was buried on August 12th, 1926 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.2 3 4

Alice and Charles were married in a religious ceremony on May 21st, 1878 at St Dunstan Stepney witnessed by James Bell Watson & Susanna Lowman.5  They had four sons and five daughters, named Charles, Wilfred, Redvers, William, Lillian, Ethel, Mabel, Maud and Elsie.
