Eliza's father was Giles Belchar (Baker) and her mother was Elizabeth Mears.  Her paternal grandparents were Belchar and <Unknown>; her maternal grandfather was William Mears (Vintner of St Mary Whitechapel) and her maternal grandmother is Amy (Need to check). She had four brothers and three sisters, named William, James, Joseph, James, Sarah, Sarah and Amey.  She died on August 1st, 1786.
