William was born about 1857 in Long Melford Suffolk.1   William's father was Alfred Ambrose and his mother is Ann.  He was an only child.  He died about October 20th, 1922 in Barking Essex.  The funeral took place on October 26th, 1922 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.  He was buried on October 26th, 1922 at the Rippleside Cemetery Barking.2 2

William and Jessie were married in a religious ceremony in March 1879 in Barking Essex.  They had six sons and three daughters, named Norman, Ernest, William, Charles, Arthur, Alfred, Kate, Alice and Ada.
