Leon(Lev) Sapir

Leon(Lev) was born in 1896 in Rezekne. Leon(Lev)'s father was Ilya Sapir and his mother was Rachel Sapir. His paternal grandparents were Leiba Sapir and Tzilya Sapir; his maternal grandparents were David Telzner and Sara Telzner. He had three brothers and three sisters, named David Faibush, Michael, Shmuel, Zina, Ida and Genya. He was the third oldest of the seven children. He died in the Holocaust at the age of 45 in 1941 in Latvia.
