Tzilya was born on March 6th, 1921.  Tzilya's father was Lev Rivkin and her mother was Hana Rivkin.  Her paternal grandparents were Iosef(Iosel) Rivkin and Rachel Rivkin; her maternal grandparents were Shmuel Lebedev and Reize Lea  Lebedev. She had a brother named Shmuel.  She was the older of the two children.  She died from cancer at the age of 63 on November 12th, 1984.

Tzilya and Sima were married in a civil ceremony on March 20th, 1946 in Leningrad.  They had a son and a daughter, named Mark and Zinaida.
