Józef was born on March 7th, 1923.  Józef's father was Stanisław Rzepka and his mother was Zofia Rzepka / Pietryka.  His paternal grandparents were Jakub Rzepka and Katarzyna Rzepka; his maternal grandparents were Wojciech Pietryka and Katarzyna Pietryka.  He had three sisters named Maria, Stanisława and Anielka.  He was the oldest of the four children.  He died due to a medical problem at the age of 60 on August 10th, 1983.
