Boleslaw I "Chrobry" was born in 0967 in Poznan, Poland.  Boleslaw I "Chrobry"'s father was Mieszko-I "The Blind" Piast Dynasty 1st Piast Duke of the Polans and his mother was Dobrawa of Bohemia.  His paternal grandparents were Ziemomysl Piast Dynasty Prince of Poland and Gorka ?; his maternal grandparents were Boleslav I "The Cruel" Duke of Bohemia and Bozena (Biagota) ?.  He was the oldest of five children.  He had three brothers and a sister, named Lambert, Swietopolk, Mieszko and Sygryda (Gunhilda) Swietoslawa.  He died at the age of 58 on June 17th, 1025.
