  possible match: 1860 census has Margaret TIDWELL, age 2/12, b. AL, residing in Division 1, Blount Cty, AL (post office Blountsville) in h/hold of Clayton/Nancy TIDWELL 23/18 AL/AL. This Margaret's older sister Arminda (1 SC) b. in different state.
  
  There is a great concentration of TIDWELL h/holds in neighboring Blount Cty, far more than in Jefferson, St. Clair or Etowah, in 1880 and other censuses.
