Nancy ROBESON

Nancy's father was John ROBESON and her mother was Sophronia HERNDON. Her paternal grandparents were James ROBESON and Elizabeth (Judah) STAFFORD. She had two brothers and a sister, named Thomas H., John A. L. and Ann (Sarah). She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named James M., George B., Michael and May Elizabeth.

  her father's lifetime. She m 7 October 1832 JOHN ROBESON (b 2 January 1809 in Kentucky; d 1855), as his second wife, and had issue: 5
  (1) Nancy Robeson m in Franklin County Abraham Bossert, served in Union Army; issue.
  (2) William Robeson.
  (3) Thomas Herndon Robeson, a staunch Democrat and member of the
  Christian Church, m 26 September 1861 Rosa A. Schocke (b 25 December 1843), daughter of Louis and Rachel (Flohr) Schocke; had issue, 3 sons and 5 daughters.
  (4) Sarah Anna Robeson m in Franklin County, Ind., 17 January 1864
  William H. Prifogle, and had issue.
