    Dear Brother and Sister [envelope addressed to "Elinzo Ragale Esq. Keck's
    Church, Martin Co. Ind."]
    
    I with a sad hart take my pen hand to drope you a line Eliza died on
    20th day of November She died in full faith of a better life I am so sad
    that I can not tell you all I will send you somthing more in a short
    time I am going to still keep [ilegible; on fold] She supplied a
    grate deal and my object is to live to meet her in a better land The
    children is all well hope you are the same May the blessing of
    heven rest on all With tears in my eyes I close Oh what can I do
