Thomas NORRIS

Thomas was born in 1607. Thomas' father was Geoffrey NORRIS and his mother was Mary Ann MYLES. His paternal grandparents were John (Noreys) NORRIS and Alice MIGHT; his maternal grandparents were Richard MYLES and FNU LNU. He was an only child. He died at the age of 68 in November 1675.

  Thomas is supposed to have run away to sea when he was about 11, followed William Claiborne in his trading expeditionns up the Chesapeake Bay and then settled in St. Mary's Co as a Protestant planter. He went back and forth between MD and VA.
