    Maxine J. Petersen, died in Salt Lake City Feb. 23, 1998.
    
    Beloved aunt and friend was born December 30, 1919 to Blanche and
    Walter Jobert in Salt Lake City. Married Rodell Alma Petersen, March
    13, 1941. He preceded her in death April 15, 1968.
    
    Maxine worked for many years for Star Kist Company and the Heinz
    Corporation in Long Beach California. She returned to Salt Lake about
    eight years ago to be near her family. She was a volunteer at the American Cancer Society.
    
    She is survived by brother-in-law, Odell (Edith) Petersen and many
    nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband and sister,
    Shirley Petersen. She will be greatly missed.
    
    In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
    
    Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 26, 1998 at 12 noon at the Salt Lake City Cemetery, 4th Ave. and N Street. Friends and
    family may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Wednesday from
    6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services at the mortuary.

(Maxine) Petersen, Long Beach, Calif., Mrs. Wenell [sic] J. (Shirley) Petersen, Salt Lake City; granddaughter.  Funeral Monday noon, 260 E. South Temple, where friends call Sunday 6-8 p.m. Monday prior to services.  Burial Salt Lake City Cemetery.
