per Earl EVANS: Daniel M EVANS was born about 1790. He appeared on the census in 1840 in Edgefield Co, SC p77 #12. He died about 1847 in Edgefield Co, SC. Edgefield Co SC Bk 37 p171 dtd 1 Jun 1820 Daniel was witness to deed from Cadwill Evans to John Bolger.

He was married to Nancy WRENN (daughter of Bates WRENN Sr and Nancy BARLOW) on December 4, 1811 in Edgefield Co, SC. Nancy WRENN was born in 1790 in Greensville Co, VA. She appeared on the census in 1850 in Edgefield Co, SC #2319. She appeared on the census in 1860 in Edgefield Co, SC Rehobeth #1094-1081. She appeared on the census in 1870 in Edgefield Co, SC Hibler #317-302. She died after 1870 in Edgefield Co, SC. In 1850, Nancy lives next door to her daughter Mary Ann (Evans) Thomas. In 1860 she is living with her youngest daughter Nancy T (Evans) White and in 1870 she is living with daughter Lurana Matilda (Evans) Henderson.
