Laurentius was born on March 2nd, 1717.  Laurentius' father was Jean-Baptiste DE FAUW and his mother was Judoca ROTS.  His paternal grandparents were Adriaan DE FAUW and Judoca LANCKRIET.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 70 on February 20th, 1788.
