John J was born in 1851. John J 's father was John Mitchell and his mother was Jane [1847 - immig New York] Brewster. His maternal grandparents were John [Glenleary] Brewster and <Unknown>. He had a brother and three sisters, named Charles Brewster, Martha Jane, Mary Ann and Margaret Hannah. He was the oldest of the five children. He died at the age of 91 in 1942.General Notes
