He was a widower from "Loughan" and died in the workhouse so this is no help at all..
General Notes
In Griffiths Valuation Revision Book 20D, John Gray is replaced by William Gray, my great grandfather, in 1889 in House 7b in Englishtown. It seems reasonable to assume that this man was related to my great grandfather in some way, especially as my great grandfather called his only son William JOHN Gray but I have no other evidence whatsoever for his existance.
