Thomas was born in 1780.  He died at the age of 93 on April 16th, 1873 in Lislea.

  Death record from Kilrea District Registrar's Office:  16th April 1873, Lislea, Thomas Gordon, Male, Widower, 93 years, Farmer, Pneumonia three weeks uncertified, No medical attendant, James Gordon Present at Death, Lislea.  NB! - this death record could also be for the grandfather of Orange Thomas Gordon who, if he was called Thomas, which seems likely, would fit the same dates, place and would fit the PAD better.  If it IS my Thomas, then it was his grandson who was PAD, which is understandable since he was so old that his son was dead!

• General Notes

  Given as the father of Jno Gordon, married to (Blank) in 1st Kilrea Presbyterian Church records - of Lislea in 1835.
  
  Given as father of Thomas Gordon, married in 1843, in 1st Kilrea Presbyterian Church.
  
  In the 1826 Tithe Applotment Book, the only Thomas Gordon in Lislea is on Plot 18.
  
  A Thomas Gordon in House 5 in Lislea in the 1831 Census is the Head of a household of 6 males and 4 females, all Presbyterian.
  
  John Gordon holds the land around the Meen in the GV so this Thomas seems to have handed over the land to his son by then.
