  Source: SS - "Isabella Finlay born 1837 married Peter Finlay 1/14/1858 at the 2nd Dunboe. Isabella was age 21, a spinster living in Ballystroan, the daughter of John Finlay, a farmer. Peter Finlay, age 21, a bachelor living in Ringrash, the son of John Finlay, a farmer. The date you have, 5/2/1869, for the death of John, may be the death date of Peter's father, as Peter Finlay reported the death. This John died in Ringrashmore."
  
  Coleraine Chronicle, Saturday, 12th June 1897: Finlay at Ringrash in the P of Mac, on the 5th, relict of the later Peter Finlay, aged 96.  This is probably the aunt of Peter who married Isabella in 1858 (his father was called John).
