Alexander Coulter

Alexander was born in 1859 in Old Monkland, Lanarkshire, Scotland.  Alexander's father was John Coulter and his mother was Catherine Carvill.  His paternal grandparents were John 1834 Vow Coulter and Mary Hanna. He had two brothers and a sister, named John, Hugh and Mary.  He was the second oldest of the four children.
