OBITUARY. The death took took place in hospital on Friday of a well known personality in Mr Robert Johnstone. A bachelor, Mr Johnstone, who was 78 years of age. was employed on the Roads Department of the County Council until his retirement over a year ago. He had a most pleasing personality and was highly respected by all in the community. He was a member of Lodge Kirkliston - Maitland No. 482 and for many years held the post of Tyler until a little over a year ago. The funeral took place to Warriston Crematorium on Monday.
