Margaret Gowans Cunningham was the widow of Robert Cunningham who died in 1835 (son of Archibald Cunningham and Elisabeth Anderson) She went on to marry William Fraser on 22 Jan 1838. They had 1 son of their own, William Fraser b 1 Nov 1839 in Uphall. William died in 1866 aged 70, Margaret died 22 Apr 1876 aged 78. This headstone is next to Robert Cunningham’s. In fact Archibald Cunningham and Elisabeth Anderson, Robert Cunningham 1835, Archibald Cunningham 1843 and William Fraser and Margaret Gowans Cunningham are all in a row!
