Deaths

WILLIAM WRAY, 77, of 114 Hancock Ave., Coleston, East Norriton, died Sunday in Morris Manor East Nursing Home, Plymouth Meeting.

Born in Spring Mill, he was a Navy veteran of World War I, and served in the Merchant Marine as a machinist.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Harry P. Lawson of the Coleston address.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the William Miller Funeral Home, 1411 Fayette St., Conshohocken, with burial in Barren Hill Cemetery.

WRAY, in Norristown, Pa., on December 17, 1972, WILLIAM, son of William and Mary (Nixon) Wray, age 77 years.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services from William J. Miller Funeral Home, 1411 Fayette St., Conshohocken, on Wednesday, December 20, 1972 at 11 A.M.  Interment in Barren Hill Cemetery.  There will be no viewing Tuesday evening.

William Wray, 77, of 114 Hancock ave., Coleston, died late Sunday afternoon at the Morris Manor East Convalescent Home.

Mr. Wray was born on May 13, 1895, in Spring Mill, the son of the late William and Mary (Nixon) Wray.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War I, and was associated with the Merchant Marines as a machinist.  He had been retired for the past 15 years from the Merchant Marines as a machinist.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Harry P. Lawson, 114 Hancock ave., Coleston, with whom he made his home; a niece, Mrs. William I. Milton, 211 Virginia rd., Plymouth Valley, and one nephew, Harry P. Lawson, Jr., 801 Renel rd., Plymouth Valley.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, from the William J. Miller Funeral Home, 1411 Fayette St., Conshohocken.  Interment will be in Barren Hill Cemetery.  Dr. Meyer Hostetter, interim pastor of the Central Presbyterian Church, Norristown, will officiate.  There will be no viewing.
