  James was born on April 11th, 1785 in Paisley and his baptism took place on April 17th, 1785 at Paisley Abbey.¹²

  He died due to a respiratory problem and/or pneumonia, Bronchitis, duration 1 month, at the age of 72 on November 24th, 1857 at Paisley Abbey. The funeral took place on November 26th, 1857 in Paisley and was arranged by James Anderson, Undertaker. He was buried on November 26th, 1857 at Paisley Abbey.³¹³

  Euphan Cameron
  Euphan was born on October 31st, 1785 in Glasgow and her baptism took place there on October 31st, 1785.⁴

    - In 1851 census she is listed as Elizabeth Matthey, wife of James, born in Banff County, Elgin. I had assumed he had remarried after Euphan / Euphemia's death, but this must be her - she is listed as dying at 9 King Street later that year.
      
      Don't know why she listed Elgin.
