Rebecca's father was Alexander Walker and her mother was Frances Elisabeth Wray. Her maternal grandparents were Samuel Wray and Sarah Davis. She had a brother named Samuel. She was the younger of the two children. She died in October 1896. She was buried on October 7th, 1896 in Port Glasgow.¹
