Elizabeth's father was William J. Wray and his mother was Mary H. Nixon. His paternal grandparents were William Wray and Eliza C. Chittick. He had two brothers and a sister, named William, Samuel and Rebecca. He was the youngest of the four children. He died at just 2 days old on June 28th, 1905 in Whitemarsh. He was buried in Whitemarsh.¹
