Jane, known as Jean, was born on May 20th, 1905 in Gorbals.¹²

Jean's father was William James Watts and her mother was Isabella Dickson. She had two brothers and a sister, named James, Stephen and Ina. She was the second youngest of the four children. She was adopted by William Mosman & Mary Donald at thirteen years old in 1918 who also adopted Ina and Stephen.² She died at the age of 64 in May 1969 in Huddersfield.
