George Walkinshaw 
George was born in 1834 in St. Quivox.1 2 George's father was John Walkinshaw and his mother was Annie Taylor. His maternal grandparents were Andrew Taylor and Ann Scoffield. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Maxwell, Andrew, Barbara, William, Elizabeth, Ann, Jannet, Helen and Isabella. He was the second oldest of the ten children.-
