Mary Thomson

Mary was born in 1810 in Bathgate.¹

Mary's father was James Thomson and her mother was Mary Bruce.  Her maternal grandparents were William Bruce and Janet Newlands. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John, William, George, James, Archibald, Janet, Margaret, Catherine and Janet.  She was the third youngest of the ten children.  She died due to natural causes or old age, General debility, old age, Paralysis (duration 4 years), Bronchial Catarrh, at the age of 79 on December 8th, 1889 in Kirkliston.  She was buried on December 12th, 1889 in Bathgate.^2 3 4
