James Thomson

James' father was Robert Thomson and his mother was Janet Shipherd. His paternal grandparents were James Thomson and Margaret Mudie; his maternal grandparents were William Shepherd and Margaret Tulloch. He had three sisters named Elizabeth, Margaret and Elspeth. He was the second oldest of the four children. He died at the age of 60 on July 5th, 1829 in Dunfermline. He was buried on July 8th, 1829 in Dunfermline.
