James Shaw

James was born in November 1694 in Kilsyth and his baptism took place there on November 18th, 1694.

James' father was William Shaw and his mother was Jean Cleland.  His paternal grandparents were Robert Shaw and Agnes Andersone. He had three brothers and three sisters, named Robert, William, David, Christian, Jean and Agnes.  He was the oldest of the seven children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named William and Jean.
