James Ross

James was born in 1865 in Glasgow.¹ James' father was William Ross and her mother was Sarah Morrison. Her paternal grandparents were Donald Ross and Ann Naismith; her maternal grandparents were James Morrison and Catherine Main. She had a brother and four sisters, named Ninian, Catherine, William, Margaret and Robert. She was the third youngest of the six children.
